The Stillwell Prize is offered annually in honor of Margaret Bingham Stillwell, first woman Professor of Bibliography at Brown University, librarian at the Annmary Brown Memorial, scholar of incunabula, and book-woman extraordinaire. The point of the monetary prize is to encourage young book collectors, it gives them an opportunity to show off their collections, and is open to all Rhode Island undergraduate college students. The prize is sponsored by the John Russell Bartlett Society and details of the competition are available here.
